About 3-On-6™
3-On-6™ replaces a full arch with three separate fixed bridges on six or more implants. Where bone and gum allow, the new teeth sit on your own gum line and can be cleaned like natural teeth.
Three bridges, six or more implants
The arch is divided into a front bridge from canine to canine and a bridge on each side at the back. Each is supported by its own implants — typically six in the lower jaw and six to seven in the upper.
- Your own gum line — no pink material where bone and gum allow
- Less bone reduction — no space needs to be made for a gum-coloured flange
- Cleans like teeth — floss and interdental brushes reach each implant
- Shared load — biting forces spread over six or more implants
- Serviced in sections — one bridge can be removed by your dentist without disturbing the others

Custom zirconia bridges
Your bridges are made from zirconia, a high-strength ceramic that resists wear and staining. They're designed around your face, lip line and bite, and checked on a stone model before they're fitted.
You'll wear a fixed temporary bridge while your implants heal, and your final zirconia bridges are fitted about three months after surgery.
See the treatment processFP1 and FP2 explained
Dentists classify full-arch bridges by how much tooth and gum they replace. 3-On-6™ aims for an FP1 or FP2 design.

FP1 — teeth only
The bridge replaces the crowns of the teeth, and your own gum frames them. Needs good bone and gum levels.

FP2 — slightly longer teeth
Teeth are a little longer to make up for mild bone loss, still without pink gum-coloured material.
If you've lost a lot of bone, an FP1 or FP2 result may not be achievable. We'll explain your options — such as bone grafting or an implant-retained overdenture — and refer you to a specialist where that's in your interest.

Who 3-On-6™ may suit
3-On-6™ may be worth considering if you have several failing, loose or broken teeth, have lost most of your teeth, or wear a denture you're not happy with.
It depends on having enough bone height and width in the right places, healthy gum tissue, and good general health. Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and some medications affect healing and need to be discussed first. A CBCT scan is essential to plan it.
