Implant Bridges

If you're missing several teeth next to each other, an implant bridge replaces them with fixed teeth on two or more implants — without relying on your natural teeth for support.

How it works

Fewer implants than missing teeth

A conventional bridge is anchored to crowns on the natural teeth either side of a gap. An implant bridge is anchored to implants instead — for example, three missing teeth in a row can often be replaced with a three-tooth bridge on two implants.

The number and position of implants depend on the length of the gap, the bone available and the biting forces in that part of your mouth. We plan this from your CBCT scan.

What's involved

Implant bridges are quoted individually after your scan, because the fee depends on the number of implants and teeth. Payment plans are available, subject to approval.

Book a consultation

Consultation & scan

We assess the gap, your bite and the bone, and take a CBCT scan.

Implant placement

Two or more implants are placed under local anaesthetic. A temporary may be fitted in the meantime.

Healing

The implants bond with the bone over several weeks to months.

Bridge fitting

Your custom porcelain or zirconia bridge is attached to the implants and the bite adjusted.

Care & reviews

Clean under the bridge daily with floss threaders or interdental brushes, and attend regular reviews.
